Immortal Rose is a unicorn raised in Canterlot, devoting most of her time and energy to the studies of the supernatural and legendary creatures that have haunted mythology and folklore since the dawn of time. After becoming dissatisfied with simply reading incomplete accounts and simply conjecture made from others, Rose left Canterlot in pilgrimage to the Everfree forest. She spends most of the year deep within it's dark confines, observing and documenting the manner of beings who inhabit it's darker and more mysterious regions. She only returned to the civilization of nearby Ponyville once every winter to escape the harsh cold. During that time she contents herself to document her adventures and grow necessary herbs and potions for her return journey in the spring.
